Niche Marketing: Why Is It Effective?

Monday, March 24th, 2008

Niche marketing is a form of marketing that is geared towards a particular niche, or need, of a specified audience.  Businesses who utilize niche marketing as their marketing strategy are usually looking for a boost in revenue, or are young companies who are looking to get a good, effective marketing strategy with as little overhead as possible.

Needless to say, promoting a business is never an inexpensive vesture, but it is one of those necessary investments that must eventually be made if a company will ever be successful. No truly effective marketing strategy is going to come for free, but a good marketing strategy is linearly related to good revenue.

If you want to sell something, how will you ever let the world know that you have it available to them if you don’t tell them? How will the world know the difference between your product and the products of all the other people in the world who are willing to offer it to them, and probably at a lower price than you can afford to offer?

There is no way for the public to know anything about your company and all of the many reasons why it tops the rest if you don’t tell them about it. Marketing is a way of telling the world about your product and convincing them that it is.

Keyword Research in Niche Marketing

Sunday, March 23rd, 2008

If you have never heard of niche marketing, rest assured that it is a simple concept.  Niche marketing has to do with gearing a particular marketing strategy towards a given audience. The given audience, often called a target audience, usually has something in common. Members of a target audience could all share interests in a particular product, service, or activity.  They may also have ethnic qualities in common, or be around the same age group.

The only thing that matters about selecting a target audience is that they have qualities in mind that matter, when it comes to their personal taste, financial decisions, and even shopping habits.

Consider the qualities about a person that molds who they are and how they spend their money, and target a specific audience based on these qualities.  Once you have selected the audience and created a marketing strategy based on their needs, you have mastered niche marketing.

Keyword research is one of the methods that have proven to be most effective when it comes to creating an effective niche marketing strategy.  Keyword research is done to find what the most popular needs are when it comes to a given niche. For example, if a particular person’s selected niche is athletic equipment, keyword research would be able to tell them how many types people have searched for ‘Wilson volleyballs’ in the search engines on the web.

If a person has searched for a particular keyword or key phrase, it would benefit the individual (or the business or marketing company) to include the phrase ‘Wilson volleyballs’ in whatever internet tools they are using to promote that particular business.

Best Greetings

Ways To Get Your Opt In Subscribers To Trust You Quickly

Saturday, January 26th, 2008

While the rest of the world have developed many barriers and protections to keep their e-mail accounts spam-free, there are also those that subscribe to mails that promotes their products, services and their site.

This is mainly because these subscribes wants to know more about what these sites are offering and can be beneficial for them. They expect to get be kept posted on what they are interested in and what are new in the market or field they have chosen.

Businesses would be so lucky to have these kinds of customers; the basic element needed to get these types of people is trust. When your customers trust you they will reward you with their loyalty. Many internet users have gone to great lengths in protecting their email accounts from spam mail.

Some free-mail internet providers and internet service providers offer spam protection while there are also some internet based companies that screen your mails for you.

With an opt-in mail list, the mails you send containing your promotional materials such as newsletters, catalogs and marketing media will go through. Your intended recipient will be able to read and view what you have sent making it a successful transfer of information. To be able to be allowed to do so, you will need permission from your recipient, to get this permission; you need to be able to get their trust. With the great lack of disregard for privacy in the internet, getting the trust of an internet user you don’t personally know is a big achievement.

To build a good opt-in list you need people to trust you, for a faster and quicker build up, you need to get your opt-in subscribers to trust you quickly. The faster you build your opt-in list the faster word about your site and company gets to be spread. The bigger the scope of your opt-in list the more traffic you get spelling more profits. Its easy math if you thin about it. Getting the numbers is not that simple though, or maybe it is?

Next part tomorrow!

Sincerely Angela

Membership Sites are Out!!

Thursday, January 24th, 2008

Dear Folks,
in my last article I told You about an easy way to find a membership site software (if You missed it, read more…). And how easy it could be to install it.
Now I’m shouting that “Traditional membership sites are out!”. Why?
Let me try to explain this a little bit:
I) Traditional membership sites have built-in pressures to create content.
It is so easy to burn out by running your own membership site. You think going in that you’ll never run out of ideas to write about. As one of the most creative and prolific writers you’ll ever run across, let me tell you that I myself face this problem. Almost everyone does. And, even if you are supernatural and can continue coming up with new ideas for years and years, the demands of updating your site 3-5 times per week with new content requires discipline that most of us just don’t possess.

member

II) Traditional membership sites demand a large investment of time.
You have a forum to moderate, cancellations to process, content to add, technical problems to troubleshoot, password problems to fix, and a variety of other tasks that usually get left out of the “salesletter” for a product or service trying to convince you to start a membership site. The truth is, a traditional membership site requires a large investment of time. Now, if this is the ONLY part of your business you’ll have, you might pull it off. But, believe me, it will leave the average person with virtually no time to do list-building, traffic generation and develop other products.

III) Traditional membership sites include a continual battle to keep subscribers.
Here’s a figure most people don’t tell you about: the “average” subscriber will stay active for 3-4 months and then they’ll cancel. What, you thought they’d join and stay with you forever? It simply doesn’t happen that way. With more and more membership sites being launched, this figure is probably going to get worse. People simply don’t have the time nor money to remain active members in many different programs. Factor in indifference, a lack of effort, poor results and a neverending amount of other enticing offers and you’ll be lucky to get them to stay 3-4 months.

But there is a way to handle all these problems: the Answer is called “Fixed-Term Membership”.
What does this mean:
Definition: “Fixed-Term Membership” Site A “fixed-term membership site” (FTM) consists of weekly content shared via autoresponder to paid members for a specified period of time.

Read more about this fantastic quick “Fixed-Term Membership” Site.

Great success
